A few weeks back Elliot Kruszynski, Joe Gamble and myself had some work at the Illustrators Fair at The House Of Illustration. This was the start of a hopefully bigger venture ‘NILES COLLECTIVE’. We started working together in the final year of uni and are hoping to get things on the go again and this was the first port of call. As a very last minute put together we gained inspiration from our favourite 90’s sitcoms eg. Frasier, friends,Malcolm in the Middle etc etc Elliot lovingly screen printed all of his work and mine and we both produced packs of postcards(mine are pictured here.) If you are interested in buying some you can do. just email me. email@example.com
I was asked by lovely Hannah at XXY magazine to produce some illustrations to go along side an article about coconuts. Here’s one, you can see the others and get coconutty reading the article here
Me and Alice Bowsher did this two colour riso at the end of uni. We still think its the best thing either of us have ever done.
A while back I was asked to design a beer label for the 100/100 project. Read more about that here.
I was one of 100 artists/designers asked to create a label with a titles beginning with the letters S and B. Mine was S’up Bruv and here is my design. All bottles will be up for auction and all proceeds will go to Art Fund.
Yesterday I took part in a live draw at Gillet Square in Dalston. The brief was pretty open and had to loosely fit the theme of ‘What is Beauty’ to coincide with the mental health awareness event that was going on in the rest of the square. I was 100% out of my comfort zone but it was great. The project was curated by Alaric from The Project Spaces and will hopefully be the first of many collaborations. Better pics to follow!
my beautiful friends Nick and Rosie got married last weekend and they asked if I could make them a banner for their special day. Here it is. All hand stitched and embroidered.
